JAMMU, June 16: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers'Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma today on 16.06.2025 called on Director School Education Jammu Dr Naseem Javaid Chowdhary JKAS in his Office Chamber regarding the issues of the teaching fraternity.
While interacting with the Director Mr Vinod Sharma projected the genuine and burning issues of the teachers which include:-
Entertainment of undergraduate degrees acquired by teachers during service by giving post facto permission so that they will become eligible for B.Ed through department,
Conversion of left out Teachers Grade III to Teachers Grade II whose and RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III
DPC of teachers to masters to overcome stagnation,
Atleast two teachers be kept in each Primary Schools as many schools are single teacher schools,
Release of Mid Day Meals dues which the teachers have managed from their own pockets.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC leadership. He said that these issues are on consideration and soon orders regarding same will be issued including DPC.
