Tribute paid to Babu Milkhi Ram

SIKANDERPUR, JAMMU, June 16: The All J&K Shri Guru Ravidas Satsang Society Regd. (Head Office: Sikanderpur, Jammu) today paid rich floral tributes to the great Dalit leader and social reformer Babu Milkhi Ram Ji in a dignified ceremony held at the Society's premises.
The event was held under the chairmanship of Paras Ram Angral, Retd MD and Convener of the Satsang Society, he addressed the gathering and spoke about the overview and remarkable contributions of Babu Milkhi Ram Ji (Ex MLA) toward the upliftment of the oppressed and marginalized communities. prof. C L Shivgotra District Secretary highlighted their relentless struggle for social justice , equality and empowerment of the oppressed section of society. Prominent personalities present on the occasion included Dr. D.D. Shivgotra and Er. B.R. Chadgal (Advisors to the Society), along with Prashotam Thapa, Organising Secretary.
Floral tributes were offered by several devoted followers and community members, including:
Dr. Buti Ram, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Kaka Ram Retd Dy SP, Hans Raj, Rangesh Chander, Jagattar Ram, Bhajan Lal, Suraj pal, capt. Gopal Dass, Sham Lal Legeh, Master Seva Ram, Mulkh Raj, Ravi Kumar Thapa, Sardar Rampal, Sunil Kumar, Ratan Lal, Subedar Karam Chand (Manager), Ram Lal, Tarsem lal, Garu Ram, Capt. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Ashok Kumar Bhasin, Secretary of the All J&K Satsang Society, who expressed gratitude to all the participants and emphasized the need to carry forward the ideals of Babu Milkhi Ram Ji.
