UDHAMPUR, June 17: On 16.06.2025, one Karim Khan S/O Sher Mohd R/O Battal Ballian reported at PP Battal Ballian regarding the theft of a water pump motor from near his agricultural field which had been kept for irrigation purposes.
Accordingly, a case was registered under FIR No. 220/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS at Police Station Udhampur.
During the course of investigation, the Police team of PS Udhampur rounded up multiple suspects for questioning. One of the suspects Vijay S/O Gian Chand R/O Pyan Padder, Battal, Tehsil & District Udhampur confessed to the crime during sustained interrogation/questioning.
Based on his disclosure, police team successfully recovered the stolen water pump motor.
Further investigation into the case is underway. |
