SAMBA, June 18: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized seven vehicles including four dumpers across the district which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, SHO PS Ramgarh, SHO PS Bari Brahmana, SHO PS Samba and Incharge Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized four dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21K- 9245, JK21G-6049, JK21D-9878, JK02CS-3095, a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21K-7283 and two tractor trolleys without Nos. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
