UDHAMPUR, June 23: Police team of Police Station Rehambal led by its SHO have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 49 bovines were rescued which were being illegally transported on foot towards Kashmir Valley without any valid permission. 02 Bovine Smuggler namely Mohd. Qasim S/O Sheru R/O Bhartund, Rajgarh and Zakir Hussain S/O Gulab Din R/O Chak Manga, Samba have been arrested on the spot.
All the bovines were rescued and have been shifted to a safer place.
In this regards, case FIR No. 93/2025 under relevant sections of law stand registered at Police Station Rehambal.
Further investigation of the case is underway. |
