Jammu, June 26: A meeting of the office bearers and members of Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was held under the chairmanship of Sh. O P Sharma (Founder Director, JKCCA) at the Office of JKCCA at Janipur, Jammu. In the meeting, the following list of activities was approved for organizing various activities, during July- December, 2025, at different places. It was informed by O P Sharma that JKCCA is committed for the cause of promotion of art & culture:
1. Felicitation of Sh. V S Rahi, Veteran Artist & Former Vice-President, All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS), New Delhi, will be held at Press Club of India, New Delhi during August, 2025.
2. A Seminar on the Life of veteran & leading visual artist of J&K, Late Triloke Kaul and his contribution in the field of visual arts to be organized during September, 2025.
3. A National Painters’ Camp to be held at Basohli (J&K) during the month of October, 2025, in which well known artists of different states/ UTs will be invited to participate.
4. A National Exhibition of Art will be organized at Amritsar (Punjab) during the month of November, 2025. The works of invited artists from all over India would be displayedin the exhibition.
The members who attended the meeting included- Mssrs. Bimal Magotra, Radhey Shyam, Ravi Kumar, Joginder Sharma, Shuv Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Kamal Nain Bhan, Ashok Mehra and Sunita Gandhi. |
