SP South Chairs Crime Review Meeting; Interacts with Newly Posted Probationary DySPs, SIs

JAMMU, June 26: To strengthen policing standards and enhance crime control mechanisms, On the directions of SSP Jammu Sh Joginder Singh, JKPS, Superintendent of Police (SP) South Jammu, Sh. Ajay Sharma-JKPS, chaired a comprehensive Crime Review Meeting of South Zone today at the DPL, Jammu. The meeting was attended by SDPO East, all SHOs and ICPPs of the South Zone, as well as the newly posted Probationary DySPs and Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in the South Zone of Jammu District.
The meeting was convened to assess the performance of the Police Stations for this month, review progress on pending investigations, and outline actionable priorities for the coming weeks. During the session, SP South gave clear directions to all SHOs for maintaining strong supervision over investigations and ensuring timely disposal of cases.
Orientation and Directions to New Probationary Officers
A special segment of the meeting was devoted to interacting with newly posted Probationary DySPs and SIs, marking their formal introduction to field responsibilities in the Police force. SP South welcomed the officers and emphasized the importance of integrity, professional conduct, and public service ethics in their role as first responders and investigators.
