| AHD Jammu concludes awareness campaign | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, June 27: Extension and Publicity Wing of the Animal Husbandry department Jammu successfully concluded two-day extensive awareness campaign launched in the hilly and far-flung areas of Ramban district.
Awareness camps were organized in Gool and Sanasar areas which witnessed enthusiastic participation of more than 300 farmers including women farmers.
Free of cost medicines including dewormers and vitamin/mineral supplements were distributed among the local livestock rearers.
Extension Officer Dr. Mohammad Sajjad explained in detail the benefits of different schemes viz. Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Integrated Dairy Development Scheme (IDDS), Integrated Poultry Development Programme (IPDP) etc. He urged the farmers to come forward and avail benefits in the form of unprecedented incentives and subsidies available for dairy, poultry and feed-fodder units.
