| DEO Reasi convenes interactive session with media persons | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, June 27: District Election Officer (DEO) Nidhi Malik today convened an interactive session with media representatives, Election Icons, and social media influencers of district Reasi to promote greater voter awareness and strengthen democratic engagement in the region. The event highlighted the pivotal role of media and digital platforms in disseminating accurate electoral information and encouraging public participation.
During the session, DEO Nidhi Malik acknowledged the influential role of media professionals and digital content creators in shaping public opinion and urged them to further amplify voter-centric messaging. She emphasized the importance of the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme in fostering inclusive, informed and active citizen engagement in the electoral process.
DEO Reasi Ms. Malik also encouraged the Election Icons of Reasi to continue inspiring the electorate through their impactful messages, underlining their potential to drive higher voter turnout. She shared key initiatives launched by the Election Commission of India (ECI) and called upon participants to aid in their wider circulation, ensuring these initiatives reach every corner of society.
