Civil Defence, Jammu started 5 days CD training programme

Jammu, June 30: 05 days Civil Defence basic training programme started at Zila Sainik Welfare Office Ambphalla, Jammu.
The programme organized under the supervision Dy. SP. Zia-ul- Haq, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu, where 150 Ex-serviceman of District, Jammu attending the said training.
This training is on the knowledge of First Aid, prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique especially preventive measures during the air attack and natural/ manmade disaster.
On the inaugural programme of the training, Dy. Controller Civil Defence highlighted the role of Civil Defence and importance of this training. He emphasized the significance of Civil Defence training in the current era. He stated that disaster preparedness is not just an institutional responsibility but a social commitment. Sh. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu also delivered a lecture and highlighted the role of Civil Defence wardens service in the organization.
Col. Bhupinder Singh Sambyal Zila sainik Welfare Office,Jammu, Jammu appreciated the programme and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such trainings.
Col. Sukhbir Asla, Col. Manjeet Bhan, Sh. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden CD, Jammu also present on the occasion.
