Leh, June 30: MSME-Development Nucleus Cell, Ladakh, field office of Ministry of MSME, implements various schemes and activities for the benefit of MSME Sector for Ladakh with jurisdiction of all District’s. The activities including Entrepreneurship Awareness Program, Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Program, Procurement Marketing Support Scheme Awareness Program, PM-Vishwakarma Seminar, PM-Vishwakarma Awareness Workshop, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Program, Management Development Program, Reimbursement of Barcode Expenditure, Reimbursement of Stall Charges, To and From Charges, Advertising Expenditure for participating in various exhibitions conducted in all parts of the Country. PM Vishwakarma scheme is implemented in Ladakh with active participation of Government of Ladakh. The scheme is meant for upliftment of skilled artisans of 18 trades who preserve the cultural identity and play vital role in economy of J&K. The scheme offers the benefit like training with stipend, Loan up to 3 Lakhs, incentive of Re.1 towards digital transaction and toolkits worth Rs.15,000/-. Training has been completed at various centers in Kargil and Leh districts of Ladakh. As on today Ladakh has received 6439 applications, 407 Loan applications sanctioned for the value of 4.02 crores, 400 toolkits delivered, 2409 skill training completed. Union Ministry of MSME celebrated MSME Day at New Delhi and PM Vishwakarma artisans named Tsewang yangzes from Leh pursuing basket making and Mustafa Ali from Kargil who was a Carpenter was invited for the MSME day celebrations at New Delhi along with their spouse and grand arrangements were made for their travel from Kargil and Leh districts to Leh airport and New Delhi & back on Union Ministry’s expenses. Nodal officer named Mr.Rajesh Kumar was appointed by G Velladurai IEDS Joint Director of MSME DNC, Leh for accompanying the artisans to New Delhi and back. |
