RAMBAN, July 2: The District Administration Ramban led by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan extended a warm welcome to the first batch of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025 pilgrims at Chanderkote and Banihal, here today. The welcome ceremony witnessed the presence of Member Legislative Assembly Ramban, Arjun Singh Raju; DIG DKR Range, Shridhar Patil; SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh; SSP Traffic NHW, Raja Adil Hamid Ganaie; ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak; ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo along with other senior officers.
The event was also graced by DDC Members and members of various religious and social organizations who joined in welcoming the pilgrims with great enthusiasm and devotion. During the interaction, the Deputy Commissioner and other dignitaries personally reviewed the arrangements made for the pilgrims at Langars and Yatri Niwas established at Chanderkote, Lamber (Banihal) and other designated locations along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district.
The District Administration worked 24X7 to provide seamless support and ensure a safe and smooth passage for the devotees undertaking the holy pilgrimage, he added. |
