Cyber Cell solves online frauds, recovers money | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 2: In a major breakthrough against rising cyber frauds, the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu has successfully recovered an amount of Rs 39,52,903/- (Thirty-nine lakhs fifty-two thousand nine hundred and three) from online fraudsters. The Cyber Cell DPO Jammu, a specialized unit dedicated to tackling cyber and financial frauds, continues to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and digital security of citizens. Demonstrating high levels of efficiency and professionalism, the team has once again delivered significant results. It is noteworthy that the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu received 2,092 complaints related to cyber frauds through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCCR). The total defrauded amount in these complaints stood at a staggering Rs 11,63,02,180/- (Eleven crore sixty-three lakhs two thousand one hundred and eighty).
