DARHAL, July 3: The Government Degree College Darhal, Jammu and Kashmir, has commenced its annual Summer Camp, offering a wide range of engaging activities and educational experiences for the students.
The Summer Camp was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Prof Zamir Ahmed Mirza, in the presence of esteemed faculty members including Dr. Ghulam Abbas, Dr. Mohd Saleem Wani, Dr. Taseen, Dr. Mohd Akhlaq, and Prof. Anzar Ahmed.
The event was coordinated by the college's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and National Service Scheme (NSS), led by Dr. M Saleem Wani and Dr. Mohd Akhlaq, respectively.
The Summer Camp is designed to provide students with a platform to explore their interests, develop new skills, and engage in creative and recreational pursuits. The program includes a diverse array of activities such as workshops, cultural performances, sports competitions, and educational excursions.
Principal Prof Zamir Ahmed Mirza expressed his enthusiasm for the Summer Camp, stating, "We are thrilled to host this enriching Summer Camp for our students. It is an opportunity for them to step out of their regular academic routine and immerse themselves in a variety of learning experiences that will not only broaden their horizons but also foster their personal growth and development."
The Summer Camp is expected to run for ten days from July 3 to July 12, 2025, offering students a chance to make the most of their summer vacation. The college administration has assured that all necessary precautions and safety measures have been put in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for the participants. |
