| Doctors' Day celebrated with Grandeur at Anutham Hotel | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 3: Doctors' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence today at Anutham Hotel & Resorts, Jammu. The event witnessed the participation of esteemed doctors from all medical colleges across Jammu Division, along with those serving in peripheral health institutions. The function was organized by the Doctors Association Jammu (DAJ) in collaboration with Qlite Integrated Solutions as the Gold Sponsor and Anutham Hotel & Resort as the Hospitality Partner.
On this occasion, four eminent doctors from Jammu Division were conferred with the prestigious "Seva Samarpan Samman - Lifetime Service and Dedication Award" for their exemplary contribution to the field of medicine. The awardees included:
Dr. R.K. Goel Dr. Sushil Rajdhan Dr. Shakti Gupta and Dr. K.C. Sharma.
The event was graced by Shri Ramesh Kumar, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by the Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, and the CEO, State Health Agency (SHA).
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Balvinder Singh, President, Doctors Association Jammu. In his address, he highlighted the unwavering dedication of doctors and their selfless service to society.
Speaking on the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner lauded the role of doctors as pillars of the healthcare system and extended his heartfelt wishes to the medical fraternity on National Doctors' Day.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Executive Director, SMVDIME, who expressed gratitude to the principals of medical colleges, heads of departments, and all participating doctors. He also extended special thanks to the sponsors for their generous support in making the event a grand success.
The celebration served as a reminder of the invaluable contributions made by the medical community and reaffirmed the spirit of service that defines the profession.
