Jammu, July 16: In a significant success against property-related crimes, Police Station Arnia has achieved a major breakthrough in a theft case registered under FIR No. 44/2025 U/S 331(4), 305 BNS. The case, lodged on the complaint of Surinder Kumar S/o Pritam Singh, R/o Suhagpur, Arnia, involved the alleged accused Rakesh Kumar S/o Subash Chander, R/o R.S. Pura, and others. Acting swiftly on investigative leads and a crucial disclosure by the accused, a police team from Arnia Police Station led by SHO Arnia,Inspector Dilawar Kumar under the supervision of SDPI R S Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu conducted a targeted recovery operation in village Suhagpur, Arnia. The operation led to the seizure of a large quantity of stolen property, which includes: one paint bucket, one toilet seat, three main hole plates/covers, fifteen iron Gaani rods, one blue submersible motor, three pieces of 40-foot G.I. pipe, one G.I. bend, one electric motor, one welding set cable, twenty LED bulbs, one key loom, four tap irons, twelve kilograms of copper wire, and two motorcycles. The accused led the police to the location of concealment and identified the exact spot. The recovery was carried out in the presence of independent witnesses, and a formal seizure memo was prepared at the scene. Further investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests and recoveries are expected.
