RAMBAN, July 16: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Ramban, Srinath Suman (JKAS) today undertook a comprehensive tour of Block Khari, conducting on-site inspections of ongoing developmental projects and holding a crucial review meeting with Rural Development Department (RDD) staff.
The visit focused on assessing various initiatives under the RDD, with a particular emphasis on works related to Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI), Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), and the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in Panchayat Khari Lower A. The ACD meticulously reviewed the progress and quality of these vital rural development schemes.
Beyond project inspections, the ACD engaged directly with senior citizens of the Panchayats, listening attentively to their concerns and addressing their queries. This interaction underscored the administration's commitment to responsive governance and community engagement.
Following the extensive site visits, a pivotal review meeting was convened at the Block Headquarters in Khari.
