Sunny Nanda, meet LG Kavinder Gupta

JAMMU, July 17: Sunny Nanda, Assistant Director of Special Olympics Bharat (JKUT) and Secretary of the J&K Sports Speed Ball Association, met Sh. Kavinder Gupta Ji, the newly appointed Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
On this occasion, Mr. Sunny Nanda, along with his team, visited Sh. Kavinder Gupta Ji's residence to extend warm congratulations on his prestigious appointment. Sh. Kavinder Gupta Ji, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, is a highly respected and experienced figure in the region's political and social development.
During the meeting, Sh. Kavinder Gupta Ji reflected on his past tenure as Deputy CM, highlighting his contributions to promoting sports in J&K, which enabled many athletes to participate at national and international levels. He emphasized his commitment to replicating and enhancing these efforts in Ladakh, stating that he envisions the region becoming a platform for new and inclusive sports such as Speed Ball, Bocce Ball, Go Game, and Special Child Activities.
He personally invited Mr. Sunny Nanda and his association to collaborate in Ladakh, expressing interest in launching new sports initiatives that will give the people of Ladakh new opportunities and enjoyment through sports.
Also present on this occasion were Mr. Gurvansh Choudhary (Coach, R.S. Pura Area), Mr. Kailash (Coach, Jammu District), and Mr. Shivang, who shared in this moment of pride and vision for inclusive sports development in the region.
