Rajouri, July 22: conclave for the widows of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) was organized by the LaukiKhad Battalion at Budhwal on 19th June 2025.
The event witnessed the active participation of over 49 widows who benefitted from the informative session aimed at raising awareness on various welfare schemes and policies for the families of Ex-Servicemen.
The widows were briefed on several vital service benefits, including the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), which ensures healthcare facilities for the veterans and their dependents.
Additionally, the attendees were introduced to the latest welfare schemes, the Sparsh pension portal and other policies that directly affect their well-being and future security.
The conclave also focused on addressing grievances and concerns raised by the widows.
A dedicated team actively took steps to resolve their issues, ensuring that they received prompt attention and assistance in dealing with any challenges they faced.
The event highlighted the continued commitment of the Indian Army to the welfare of Ex-Servicemen families, ensuring they remain supported and informed about their rights and entitlements.
