Keshav Chopra participates in Special Abhishek Ceremony | | | early times report
Jammu, July 25: Prominent social activist and Chairman of the Samvedna Society Keshav Chopra, today paid obeisance at the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu and participated in the special Abhishek ceremony of Lord Venkateswara. He was joined by R.C. Subramaniam, Superintendent of Tirupati Balaji Temple Jammu. The ceremony, performed every Friday, saw prayers offered for the welfare of the country. Keshav Chopra expressed immense joy and pride over the establishment of the Tirupati Balaji temple in Jammu, highlighting its role in bringing the rich culture of South India to the people of the region. He described the experience as "heavenly" and urged people to visit the temple and seek blessings. Chopra emphasized that the Lord Venkateswara temple is a significant boost to spiritual tourism in Jammu. He further shared his divine experience at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, nestled amidst the scenic Shivalik forests in Majeen, Jammu. He extended an appeal to all devotees who are unable to visit Andhra Pradesh to come to the Jammu temple to offer prayers and seek the Lord's blessings. Meanwhile, R.C. Subramaniam, Superintendent of the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu, voiced concerns regarding the lack of transport services to the temple, which is located in the Majin area. He made a direct appeal to the Administration of Jammu, to ensure that basic transport services to the temple are initiated at the earliest to facilitate devotees. Also present on this auspicious occasion were Ved Pandit Amit Shukla, Archaka Pandit Ravi Teja Bhattacharya, Pandit Surya Prakash Dwivedi, and Pandit Gautam Pandey.
