| District Police recovered 04 grams heroin like substance in Chanderkote area | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, July 25: In continuation of drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, District Police Ramban under the supervision of SSP Ramban Shri Kulbir Singh held one person and recovered heroin like Substance from his Possession.
A team of Police Station Chanderkote while on naka checking duty in Kunfer, Chanderkote area intercepted one Vehicle Eeco bearing registration No JK19A 5655 coming from Nashri side. On questioning the occupant travelling in vehicle disclosed his identity as Shoib Majid son of Abdual Majid resident of Dalwah, Sangaldan,Gool.
During the process of checking 04 grams (approx) of heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of above named person.
In this regard, case FIR No.40/2025 under relevant Sections of NDPS Act got registered in PS Chanderkote,
The recovered contraband and vehicle was seized following all necessary legal formalities. The above named person was taken into police custody.
The investigation is ongoing to uncover the entire network and establish backward and forward linkages. |
