| Notorious criminal booked under PSA | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, July 25: In a major success against criminal activities Kathua Police has booked a notorious criminal/History Sheeter under PSA following multiple involvements in many criminal cases.
On the directions of District Magistrate Kathua a detention warrant vide Order No. PSA /170 of 2025 dated 22- 07-2025 was issued against the accused Harish Kumar @ Shally S/o Narinder Kumar R/o Ward No.06 , Billawar Tehsil Billawar, District Kathua.
Police team of Police Station Billawar led by SHO Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh Neeraj Padyar under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS arrested the accused and executed the said warrant under section 8 (1) (A) of J&K Public Safety Act 1978 was issued against the accused by District Magistrate Kathua after receiving the dossier from district police against the accused.
The said accused was habitual of indulging in criminal activities and there was many criminal cases in which accused was involved. Detail of the cases are as under :-

FIR No 42/2017 U/S 307/341/323/34/RPC, 3/25 Arms Acr of PS Hiranagar
FIR No.63/2017 U/S 307/458/147/323/RPC, 4/25 Arms Act of PS Nowabad
FIR No.71/2025 U/S 307/115(2)/351/352/BNS of PS Hiranagar
Finally today the warrant was executed and the accused person was sent to District Jail Rajouri. |
