Kargil Vijay Diwas observed by students of GLDM GDC Hiranagar

Hiranagar, July 26: As part of their ongoing summer internship program, the students of GLDM GDC Hiranagar organized debate and poetry recitation competitions to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas at various Government High and Middle Schools of Block Hiranagar.
The event was held under the esteemed leadership of Principal Dr. Pragya Khanna, with the aim of honoring the valor of Kargil martyrs and fostering patriotic spirit among students.
The program was smoothly conducted by Prof. Shapia Shameem, NSS Programme Officer, and Prof. Surinder, from the Department of Education, under the joint banner of the Department of Education and NSS Unit 'Cheshta' of GDC Hiranagar.
Students showcased their patriotic fervor and awareness through passionate speeches and heartfelt poetry, reflecting on the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas with zeal and enthusiasm. Their active involvement made the program vibrant and meaningful.
To encourage their continued participation in national and educational events, prizes and medals were awarded to the participating students.
This gesture served not only to recognize their efforts but also to motivate them for future engagements in nation-building activities.
All faculty members of the host schools were present on the occasion and joined in paying rich tributes to the Kargil heroes, making the event a solemn and inspiring tribute to India’s brave soldiers.
