Jammu, July 26: Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar visited District Udhampur on 26.7.25 and convened a comprehensive review Meeting of Health Programmes with CMO Udhampur who welcomed sir on his arrival. DHS was accompanied by SM Dr.D.J.Raina, DD Dentistry Dr.Sanjay Sharma, DD Planning Dr.Monika Upadhaya,STO Dr.Jyoti Jolly, Nodal Officer NPCB & VI Dr. Kamal Gupta, Nodal Officer NIDDCP Dr.Gurdeep, Nodal Officer JK Sehat Dr.Mridula, MO Epidemiology Dr. Premlata. The meeting aimed at evaluating the performance and progress of various health schemes and services in the district. The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer Udhampur Dr. Anil Manhas, MS Udhampur, Dy. CMO Udhampur, all BMOs of District Udhampur.CMO Udhampur presented a detailed Power Point presentation highlighting key health indicators, achievements, and the overall work done across the district under various health programmes. DHS took a detailed review of health schemes that included Implementation and utilization of JK Sehat app, Progress under the National TB Elimination Programme, Status of e Sanjeevani telemedicine services, Non- Communicable Disease (NCD) screening and management, implementation of RBSK Ambulance Services and timely referrals, C-section service availability at delivery points, Functionality and maintenance of Oxygen Generation Plants, Implementation of the National Programme for Control of Blindness, e Sehaj, activities under NVBDCP, the ASHA programme, Progress of other flagship National Health Programmes besides Monitoring and reporting under Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) through the Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP).DHS also reviewed the critical care infrastructure under the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. DHS assessed the status and timelines of ongoing projects and instructed for expedited completion without compromising quality. DHS was satisfied with the efforts of the district health team and emphasized the importance of efficient service delivery, timely reporting, and collaborative efforts to meet the set health targets. DHS emphasized the importance of robust data reporting, timely interventions and district level ownership in driving the programmes forward. DHS urged the teams to ensure full compliance with national guidelines and focus on strategies laid forward under the program.
