Shri Ram School hosts Parent Orientation Workshop

Jammu, July 26: The Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu (TSUS Jammu), under the strong mentorship of Shri Educare Limited (SEL), successfully conducted a powerful Parent Orientation Workshop entitled “Raising Curious Thinkers: Supporting Scientific Inquiry at Home” at the Shri Sanskruti Auditorium. This workshop was strategically designed to empower parents as active partners in developing their children’s scientific mindset and passion for learning.
Led by the esteemed Ms. Antara McNamara, Deputy General Manager of Operations at SEL Delhi NCR, the session drew on her extensive 25 years of experience across national and international curricula. As a certified IB-PYP educator, Ms. McNamara has held significant academic roles at renowned institutions such as Scottish High International School and Pathways School, Gurgaon, and has made remarkable contributions to early childhood education at Blue Bells Public School. Her unwavering belief in inquiry-driven, compassionate learning set a compelling tone for the entire session.
The workshop offered parents effective, hands-on strategies to ignite curiosity, enhance critical thinking, and cultivate a questioning mindset in their home environments. Ms. McNamara's practical methods, engaging delivery, and real-life classroom insights created an impactful experience for all attendees, ensuring they left empowered and ready to implement what they learned.
Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman of TSUS Jammu, delivered rich reflections on effective parenting practices, highlighting the vital role of patience, communication, and value-based upbringing in shaping confident, future-ready children.
In addition, the event featured key personnel including Ms. Rajni Gupta, Director; Ms. Sonika Mahajan, Principal; and Ms. Shivani Vaid, Headmistress, who welcomed the parent community with a clear commitment to fostering robust, collaborative partnerships between home and school.
The session garnered enthusiastic appreciation from parents, underscoring TSUS Jammu’s vision of establishing a dynamic, nurturing, and inquiry-led learning ecosystem.
