Interaction with ESM, widows and Veer Naris | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, July 26: The Indian Army organised a meaningful interaction with Ex-Servicemen (ESM), Widows and Veer Naris at Chakal Salta in Rajouri district on 26 July 2025. The initiative aimed to honour the sacrifices of veterans and their families while addressing their concerns and extending continued support. The event served as a valuable platform for ESM to share their experiences, voice their grievances and provide suggestions for better welfare measures. A total of 11 ESM and one Sarpanch participated in the interaction. They appreciated the Indian Army's continued commitment to engaging with veterans and ensuring their well-being, especially in remote and far-flung regions like Chakal Salta. The gathering culminated with heartfelt expressions of gratitude from the attendees, acknowledging the Army's unwavering efforts to provide assistance during emergencies and to ensure the welfare of the veteran community. The Sarpanch also praised the Army's initiative in strengthening Civil-Military relations and addressing local issues with empathy and promptness.
