Billawar police worked out sensational murder case

KATHUA, July 26: Kathua Police has worked out sensational murder case registered at Police Station Billawar, arrested 02 accused persons, seized weapon of offence and one vehicle used in the commission of offence.
On 16.02. 2025 an information received through PCR Kathua at PP Ramkot that one male person namely Daksh Chada S/O Romesh Chada Age- 35 years R/O Tower Ten flat No 601 Delhi M3M sec. 67 Merlin Gurgaon Delhi has brought dead in GMC Kathua under suspicious condition.
On this an inquest proceeding initiated U/S 194/BNSS Vide GD No. 27 dated 16-02-2025 of P/S Billawar.
On dated 20-05-2025 an order received through dak from Hon'ble CJM court Kathua. In compliance of Hon'ble court order a case FIR No.68/2025 U/S 103/BNS stands registered at Ps Billawar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, SHO PS Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq assisted by IC PP Ramkot PSI Ranbheer Singh under the Supervision of SP Ops Upper Kathua Sh Aamir Iqbal and SDPO Billawar Sh.Neeraj Padyar and over all supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena -IPS after continuous strenuous efforts coupled with analysis of CCTV footage and technical assistance, apprehened one suspected person namely Amit Sharma S/o Rajpal Sharma R/O H.No.51 Mewabhatti Thana Loni Chiraurin Ghaziabad UP. Upon sustained questioning, the accused revealed the involvement of one another person in the offence and disclosed his name as Rahul Singh S/o Manoj Kumar R/o 834 New Karhera Colony Mohan nagar Ghaziabad U.P and later on above said accused also got arrested in the instant case .On the disclosure of both the accused persons one paanah ( weapon of offence) and one car ( Boleno) bearing registration No. UP 14FS-2652 used in commission of offence was seized in the instant case.
J&K Police Kathua with continued effort got succeeded to uncover the accused network and connection.Kathua Police remains dedicated in maintaining law and order in the region and urges local citizens to any criminal activities in their area to P/S.
