JAMMU, July 29: Under the NSS Unit in collaboration with Eco-Club of GDC RS Pura organized a plantation drive in the college premises under the guidance of Principal Mam Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour and under the aegis of IQAC. Faculty, staff, and students planted saplings across the campus, reaffirming their commitment to building a greener and cleaner environment. Native and medicinal plant species were prioritized to support local biodiversity. A diverse selection of herbal plants and ornamental plants, including Moringa, Rosemary, Chinar, Gulmohar etc. were planted. Speaking about the event Prof (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, Principal urged students to adopt eco-friendly habits and spread the message of sustainability within and beyond the campus.
