Culmination of internship programme on Mass Media and Journalism 7/29/2025 10:14:29 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, July 29: Govt. Degree College Neeli Nallah in collaboration with Explore News Channel, successfully concluded its internship program on Mass Media and Journalism marking a significant milestone in the academic and professional journey of participating students of Semester V. The internship spanned for 15 days, offering students a hands-on experience in various domains of media including print journalism, digital content creation, media reporting and public relations. The programme was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world media practices. Throughout the internship the students gained valuable insights into newsroom operations, editing techniques and media ethics. The experience equipped them to meet the demands of the dynamic media landscape. Dr. Sunil Tanoch, Course Coordinator welcomed the chief guest Prof. (Dr.) Seema Arora, Principal GDC Neeli Nallah and guest of honour Mr. Tarun Gupta, Editor in Chief, Explore News. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal appreciated the efforts of Mr. Tarun and the team, wherein she stated, "this internship not only empowered our students with practical knowledge but also helped them built networks that will support their careers in media and journals." Dr. Sunil Tanoch, extended his heartfelt gratitude to the respected Principal Mam for taking the initiative to organize the internship Programme in Mass Media and Communication. Her visionary leadership and commitment in providing meaningful learning opportunities have opened new doors for our students to explore practical aspects of the field. Certificates of participation were awarded to the interns and select students shared their enriching experiences, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to engage directly with professionals in the field.
