Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 29: Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM) held several meetings to strengthen the organisation in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and Ladakh UT, during which they also took a pledge for the liberation of Kailash Mansarovar on the occasion of Shraavan month.
During the meetings, deliberations were held to strengthen the organization and activities. In this connection, a three-member committee was formed for the Ladakh Unit. Shri Davinder Padha Ji, Media Secretary of JKUT, Shri Nawang Thinlas, and Shri Phuntsog Angchuk will oversee the organisational work of Ladakh UT. Dr Vishal Singh Pathania will look after the organisational work of the Central University of Jammu. Meanwhile, Dr Nitan Sharma and Dr Rohit Sadotra shall oversee the organisational work of Jammu University.
The Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM) has taken a resolute pledge for the liberation of Kailash Mansarovar from Chinese control. On this occasion, activists of the organisation reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Tibetan cause and demanded the restoration of free access to the sacred sites of Kailash and Mansarovar, which hold immense spiritual significance for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers. Dr Vivek Sharma, President J&K and Leh UT, has nominated Dr Vishal Singh Pathania as Vice President of JK UT of BTSM, Dr. Rohit Sadotra as President of Jammu University and Dr Nitan as Secretary of JKUT.
On this occasion, Dr Vivek Sharma stated that China's occupation of Tibet has not only violated the territorial and spiritual rights of Tibetans but also disrupted the religious sentiments of millions of Indian devotees. He further mentioned that the organisation called upon Indian citizens to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with the Tibetan people in their struggle for freedom and cultural preservation.
He further expressed his belief that one day Tibet will be free from China, allowing the pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar to proceed smoothly.
