MANDI GOBINDGARH, Aug 1: Desh Bhagat University is thrilled to announce a remarkable achievement by one of its shining stars. Pawan Rajput, a student of B.P.E.S., 3rd Semester, has been selected to represent India at the prestigious Asian Powerlifting Championship, scheduled to be held in Turkey in December 2025.
Rajput has consistently demonstrated excellence in the field of sports. He is a two-time National Gold Medalist, having secured top honors at national-level competitions held in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and Davangere, Karnataka in 2025. Adding further glory to his record, he also clinched a Silver Medal at the AIU Championship 2025, held at Kashmir University.
