Jammu, Aug 1: Today dated 1st August 2025, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Jammu Uchit Singhal inspected various passenger amenities and commercial offices/establishments at Dinanagar, Dhariwali, Gurdaspur and Pathankot Junction station. The progress of yard remodeling/goodshed work as well as Amrit Bharat Station work at Gurdaspur was reviewed. Also platform resurfacing work at Dhariwali was discussed and the need for an additional PF at Dinanagar along with FOB was emphasized by the residents of Dinanagar during his visit.
During the inspection, the Sr DCM directed the commercial and station staff to be in uniform and directed the staff to follow all relevant rules/procedures while working while being courteous to the passengers. He also directed the section commercial supervisors to improve record keeping and promote cashless UTS/PRS transactions with rail help. |
