RS PURA, Aug 6: As a part of ongoing 79th Independence Day Celebrations, Cultural Committee of Government Degree College RS Pura organised Intra College National Anthem Singing Competition on 6th August 2025. 10 students participated in the event, showcasing their talent to the theme. Among them students namely Nazia and Gurpreet bagged the first position, Shivani and Sakshi got the second position and third position was secured by Priyanka and Evenjot. Principal (Prof.) Dr. Preetpal Kour in her address wished each one a happy Independence day and said that we as a citizen should pledge to take part in nation building in our own unique ways. The competition was meticulously scrutinized by a panel of judges, including Dr. Chanchal Angral, Dr. Raj Jamwal , Dr. Jasmeet Kour and Dr. Jugal Kishore. Dr. Jasmeet Kour, HOD Music gave the formal welcome address and Dr. Shivani Manchanda expressed gratitude to participants, judges and attendees in the vote of thanks. Prominent faculty members present on the occasion were Dr. Anupama Pandotra, Prof. Vijeeta Anand, Dr. Savleen Kour and Dr. Kiran Lata. |
