| From Operation Sindoor to Operation Mahadev | | | Omkar Dattatray
The success story from Operation Sindoor to Operation Mahadev is worth praising and commending and we should acknowledge the success of both these operations and desist from politicking it for selfish political and petty selfish gains. Operation Sindoor has been a total success and it has dismantled nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and POK and some 1200 terrorists were killed and Success of the Operation Sindoor should to the world the might and military prowess of India and Pakistan was made to bend on its knees and she requested for a ceasefire. The objective of Operation Sindoor was not to cross the border or capture the territory, it was to eliminate terror nurseries which Pakistan has nurtured for years, and provide justice to innocent families who lost their loved ones in cross border attacks. Indian armed forces targeted nine terror sites in Pakistan as part of Operation Sindoor. India launched Operation Sindoor and conducted a precise and restrained response that was designed to be non -escalatory in nature. Only known terror sites were dismantled and no civilians were targeted as no Pakistani civilian; economic or military targets were hit. Out of the nine targets chosen by India, four were in Pakistan and five were in POK. India army struck nine terror targets -four in Pakistan, including Bahawalpur, Murikde, and Sialkot and five in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir-POJK. The terror headquarters of banned Jaish-e-Mohmmed, Lashker-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mjjahideen were targeted under Operation Sindoor with IAF carrying out night raids on the nine hideouts located in Pakistan and POK. The strikes by Indian armed forces came in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indian’s and one Nepali citizen were killed. The Indian government said that it is living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable. India has paused Operation Sindoor but has not ended it and she can resume it any time when need arises to counter and combat terrorism against it from the enemy country. The monsoon session of the parliament is on and Phalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor are discussed and debated with the opposition questioning the stoppage of the Operation Sindoor and also raised questions why GOI has not annexed POJK in its war against terror and Operation Sindoor. Opposition contended that India was close to annexing POJK but it abandoned Operation Sindoor under pressure from America. But while replaying to the Opposition charges prime minister Narendra Modi addressed Parliament for one and a half hour and made it clear that Operation Sindoor was not stopped under the pressure from any world leader but it has only been paused. India has cancelled Indus water treaty as water and blood cannot flow together nor can blood spilling and talks go together.PM said that talks and terror cannot go together. Now Indian security forces have launched another important operation Known as Operation Mahadev in Jammu and Kashmir to combat terrorism and it has begun to yield positive results. Three top terrorists were recently eliminated including the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack namely Mussa. The killing of the mastermind of Pahalgam terrorist attack is a big achievement of our security forces and very soon other terrorists involved in Pahalgam terror attack will also be eliminated and the security forces are working in this, regards. After Operation Sindoor, PM’s Operation Mahadev is going to deliver decisive blow to Pak sponsored terrorism is what has been said by Tarun Chugh, BJP general secretary recently. Chugh praised Indian army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police for eliminating three terrorists near Mahadev peak near Srinagar. The killed foreign terrorists included the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack and it is a big success of our security forces. After the total and complete success of Operation Sindoor in which through precision air strikes Indian army has dismantled nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and POJK and killed about 100 terrorists and it is a big win for India. PM said that Operation Sindoor proved that there is no safe haven for terrorists and enemies of India and these views have been put forward by PM Modi in the monsoon session of the parliament. Now after the successful Operation Sindoor, Modi’s another initiative called Operation Mahadev is striking at the terrorists foreign and local within the territory of Jammu and Kashmir killing of three foreign terrorists including the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack is not a on-off action but part of the Modi government’s decisive anti -terror doctrine. Operation, Mahadev is a clear message to any terror sponsor that India will not negotiate but will neutralise. Operation Mahadev is the apt and appropriate name given to the Modi’s initiative of combating terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and there can be no better name to anti -terror operations than Operation Mahadev. The opposition parties including the Congress is doing only politics over Operation Sindoor and now they are politicking over the name Mahadev and objecting to it. But the very name Operation Mahadev implies that it signifies the elimination and destruction of the terrorists as Lord Mahadev is the Lord of destruction and therefore the befitting name to the new initiative by our security forces. Through Operation Mahadev our security forces will eliminate foreign terrorists and home- grown terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and there should be no misunderstanding and confusion about the name Operation Mahadev. We have full faith in our security forces and they will eliminate all militants and terrorists through operation Mahadev and initially our security forces have neutralised three most wanted terrorists including the mastermind of the Pahalgam terrorist attack. In the days to come our security forces will continue to eliminate terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and give a death-kneel to terrorism. The residual and remaining terrorists will be liquidated very shortly and this will be a big win of our security forces. In short from Operation Sindoor to Operation Mahadav, there are only success stories and we should stand behind our security forces like a rock so that their morale is kept high and they will continue to combat foreign and home- grown terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and if need arises our army will cross the borders and eliminate terrorists in Pakistan and POJK who are sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. With the grace and blessings of Mahadev our, Operation Mahadav will be all success and success of Operation Mahadev is our prayer to Mahadev in this holy month of Savan. Hope Mahadev will give strength to our security forces and they will be able to dismantle terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. From Op Sindoor to Op Mahadev there are only success stories and we should accept this truth and stop politicking over it.
