Jammu, Aug 10: Plantation drive organized at Shiromani Sant Kabir Bhawan, Bishnah, with an aim to promote environmental protection and spread awareness about the importance of greenery in our surroundings.
The drive was led by Sh. Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, in the esteemed presence of Chairman, Shiromani Sant Kabir Bhawan, Sh. F.C. Bhagat and Hon’ble MLA Bishnah, Dr. Rajiv Bhagat.
On the occasion, Sh. Sat Sharma planted saplings in the premises of the Bhawan, symbolizing a commitment towards a clean and green environment. He also paid homage and took blessings of Sant Kabir Sahib, acknowledging the saint’s timeless message of harmony, equality, and compassion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Sat Sharma appreciated the efforts of the management of Shiromani Sant Kabir Bhawan in maintaining the premises and for taking the initiative to blend spirituality with environmental consciousness.
The event witnessed the participation of local residents, community members, and devotees, who lauded the initiative and pledged their support towards environmental conservation in line with the teachings of Sant Kabir. |
