Launch of official webpage for PMVBRY and special desk for stakeholder support-reg 8/18/2025 9:36:48 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 18: In a significant step towards promoting employment generation and economic growth, the Prime Minister announced the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) from the ramparts of the Red Fort on 15th August 2025. As part of the government's efforts to ensure widespread awareness and facilitate easy access to information, we are pleased to announce that the official webpage for the PMVBRY is now live. The scheme has a substantial financial outlay of Rs 99,446 crore aimed at generating approximately 3.5 crore employment opportunities nationwide. The official webpage for the PMVBRY can be accessed at the following links: - https://pmvbry.labour.gov.in - https://pmvbry.epfindia.gov.in The webpage features: - Detailed guidelines for the scheme - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - Other essential resources for stakeholders Simplifying UAN Activation/Allotment through UMANG App To simplify the process of UAN activation/allotment, the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched Face Authentication Technology (FAT) through the UMANG app. This service enables EPF members to generate, activate, or update their Universal Account Number (UAN) without visiting any EPFO office or contacting employers. Special Desk for Stakeholder Support at RO Jammu To further support stakeholders, a special desk has been created at the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Regional Office Jammu. This desk will provide facilitation and live demonstrations of the scheme's features and benefits to all stakeholders, ensuring they have the necessary information and resources to take full advantage of the PMVBRY. Additionally, a live demo of the FAT feature through the UMANG app is also available at the PRO of RO Jammu.
