Market inspection to check the quality of Food Safety Department in Poonch | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Aug 19: A team from the Food Safety Department, led by Assistant Food Safety Commissioner Tariq Mahmood, inspected various markets in Poonch city to check the quality of food items. The team also included Food Safety Inspectors Zafar Iqbal and Muhammad Rais Malik. The team inspected various hotels, shops, and especially meat shops. The purpose of this inspection was to ensure that customers are provided with good-quality and hygienic food. Assistant Food Safety Commissioner Tariq Mahmood said that no substandard meat or food items have been found in any hotel so far. Despite this, strict instructions have been issued to all shopkeepers and traders to take special care of hygiene and sell only quality products. He added that if any shop or hotel is found selling substandard items in the future, strict action will be taken against them. This campaign has been started to ensure people's health and protect them from unhealthy food. The Food Safety Department will continue such surprise inspections in the future so that there is no compromise on quality.
