| Thief arrested; stolen tractor recovered | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 20: On 04-01-2025 one complaint received from complainant namely Simro Devi W/o Sham Lal R/o Baggan Tehsil Billawar district Kathua regarding theft of her Tractor alongwith trolley bearing Reg. No. JK08N- 0410 from last Morh Billawar. In this regard a case FIR No. 01/2025 U/S 379/IPC has been registered in this P/S and investigation started.
During investigation Police party of P/S Billawar led by SHO Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SP Oprs Upper Kathua Aumir Iqbal and SDPO Billawar Sh Neeraj Padyar did hectic efforts and with timely human intervention rounded and searched various places in Kathua Distt as well as out of UT and also connected with Punjab Police for this matter. Finally the police team of PS Billawar arrested the accused namely Sareef S/o Maskeen Ali R/o Manderan Adampur District Jalandhar, Punjab, from Punjab and the said stolen tractor bearing Reg. No. JK08N - 0410 has been recovered from his possession and value of stolen Tractor Rs 07 lacs 50,000/- thousands rupees. Further investigation of the case is going on. |
