KUPWARA, Aug 29: On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikanth Suse, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad convened a meeting here today to review arrangements made for the celebrations of Eid Milad- un-Nabi (SAW) on Sep-5.
Addressing the meeting, ADC stressed upon all the officers to be more active and responsive on ground, work with added zeal and enthusiasm, and ensure availability of all essential amenities to the people during the festival days.
ADC instructed concerned officers for providing all requisite facilities including safe drinking water, sanitation, medical care facilities, uninterrupted power supply, adequate transport facilities and parking places to the devotees.
CMO Kupwara was directed to deploy medical teams at Shahwali Muqam shrine where large congregations in view of Eid Milad- un-Nabi (SAW) and Friday following are expected, similarly the Fire and Emergency department was directed to deploy fire tenders.
