Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) organized a series of boot camps under the J&K Startup Idea Challenge in Government Degree Colleges at Anantnag, Srinagar, Pulwama, Poonch, Budgam, Handwara and Ganderbal. These boot camps are part of a larger series of 46 programs designed to foster startup ideation and promote entrepreneurial spirit among students across the Union Territory. At Government College for Women (GCW), Nawakadal, Srinagar, the boot camp was conducted by a three-member JKEDI team comprising Sh. Aamir Shafiq, Communication Associate, Sh. Sheikh Nowsheen, Assistant Faculty, and Sh. Nadeem Fayaz, Coordinator. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 100 students, who were introduced to the J&K Startup Policy 2024-27 and engaged in an interactive session on entrepreneurship as a career choice. At GCW M.A. Road, Srinagar, a four-member JKEDI team including Sh. Ashan Qadir, District Nodal Officer, Mrs. Syed Miftah Zahoor, Manager CSF, Dr. Sameer Jan Bhat, Assistant Faculty & In-charge CEER, and Sh. Iqbal Ali, Assistant Faculty, conducted the program.
