Early Times Report MANDI GOBINDGARH, Aug 29: Under the vision of Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur the faculty of Dental Sciences, DBU in collaboration with the Institute's Innovation Council, organized an insightful lecture on "Innovation Validation in Dentistry". The session was inaugurated by Dr Harsh Sadawarti Vice Chancellor, Dr Vikram Bali Principal Desh Bhagat Dental College and hospital and Dr Tejveer Singh Vice Principal Desh Bhagat dental college and hospital. The session was conducted by Dr. Vibhuti, Assistant Professor, DBDC&H, who served as the resource person. The lecture aimed to enlighten students, faculty, and dental professionals on how innovative ideas in dental science and technology can be effectively validated, optimized, and implemented to improve patient outcomes and dental practices. Dr. Vibhuti emphasized key aspects of innovation in dentistry, including new techniques, materials, digital tools, and devices that have the potential to revolutionize clinical practice. She highlighted the importance of validation, stressing that safety, efficacy, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance must be ensured before adopting any new method or technology. The lecture concluded with an emphasis on the pivotal role of the Institute's Innovation Council in mentoring budding innovators, offering resources, and fostering a culture of research and innovation. |
