Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 29: After 35 years of dedicated service, Shri Dara Singh, Assistant Registrar, IGNOU, Regional Centre Jammu embarked on a well-deserved retirement today. During his tenure in the University, Dara Singh was instrumental in streamlining administrative processes, supporting major projects, or fostering a positive work environment. He consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication and a commitment to the success of the organization. Dara Singh began his career as Junior Assistant in Assam Regional Centre in 1990 and has thus far served at Regional Centre Shillong, Regional Centre Khanna and Regional Centre Jammu in various capacities. Regional Centre Jammu organized a grand felicitation ceremony at its campus in the honour of dedicated services of Shri Dara Singh. A virtual meet was also organized which saw the participation of Registrar (Administration), New Delhi, Shri Alok Chaube, Regional Director, RC Lucknow, Dr. Jai Prakash Verma and many other officials from Regional Centres Shillong, Khanna, Patna, Darbhanga and New Delhi Headquarters as well. "We are incredibly grateful for Dara Singh's dedicated service and the lasting impact he has had on our team at the Regional Centre and we will deeply miss his expertise and presence", said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director, Regional Centre Jammu. The entire Regional Centre staff wished him a fulfilling and joyful retirement. |
