JAMMU, Sept 3: On 03 September 2025, in a swift and challenging rescue operation, BSF successfully evacuated 44 civilians in BSF helicopter from Village Fattu Kotli, near Garkhal, Tehsil Akhnoor, District Jammu.
The operation was carried out under adverse conditions to ensure the safety of villagers stranded due to heavy flooding. The timely action of BSF brought relief to the affected families as well as prevented any loss of life.
