Kabbadi referee course entered it’s 3rd day

Srinagar, Sept 3: The ongoing UT Level-1 Kabaddi Referee Course entered its third day at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar, Kashmir. The event is being conducted under the expert supervision of Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association and Technical Director of the Asian Kabaddi Federation.
Ms. Nuzhat Gull, Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, is also closely monitoring the progress of the course. Both morning and evening sessions are progressing smoothly. While the morning sessions focus on theoretical knowledge, evening sessions emphasize practical training, both being conducted with great enthusiasm and discipline.
Prominent Kabaddi officials Mr. Rana Ranjeet Singh, International Kabaddi Referee from Bihar, and Ms. Dhanashree, an AKFI Technical Referee from Maharashtra, are sharing their vast technical experience with the trainees. Their sessions are not only informative but also interactive, filled with real-time examples and demonstrations. Their rich expertise, punctuality, dedication, and reputation both Nationally and internationally make them ideal mentors for this refree / umpires course level 1. 90 officials from different District of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are actively participating and benefitting from their experience. The training aims to enhance the participants’ understanding of the technicalities of Kabaddi and prepare them for officiating in various tournaments organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department, All India Inter-Zonal events, Police Meets, Inter University, inter College,and other prestigious tournaments.
The driving force behind this initiative is Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, who is being lauded for his tireless efforts in promoting Kabaddi both in Jammu & Kashmir and abroad under the guidance of Anil Gupta President Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association.He is truly working as a “one-man army” in elevating the status of the Kabaddi game and its officiating standards.
