| BSF Jammu organises medical camps in Poonch, Jammu, Samba and Pathankot districts | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 4: On the directions of the Hon'ble Union Home Minister, BSF Jammu organised a series of Medical Relief Camps on 04 September 2025 to extend timely healthcare assistance to the rain and flood-affected population in Districts Poonch, Jammu, Samba and Pathankot.
The following camps were conducted:
Rajpura Mandi, District Poonch - Organised by BSF Rajouri
Village Abdal, Suchetgarh, Jammu - Organised by BSF Jammu
Village Nanga, Samba - Organised by BSF I-Nagar
Village Dhanwal & nearby areas, Pathankot- Organised by BSF I-Nagar
BSF doctors and pharmacists conducted health check-ups, distributed medicines, and ensured immediate medical relief to the affected villagers.
Key services provided during the camps included:
General health check-ups
Diagnosis and treatment of common post-flood illnesses such as skin infections, fever, and respiratory issues
Distribution of medicines
Health education on hygiene and prevention of water-borne diseases
Referrals for critical cases requiring further treatment
These medical relief efforts reiterated BSF Jammu's commitment to stand with the people during natural calamities and to provide timely medical support to the needy. |
