amritsar, Sept 8: The Institution’s Innovation Council of DAV College, Amritsar organized an Internship training for its students under the guidance of Principal and IIC President Dr. Amardeep Gupta. Three students of B.Sc(Bio-tech) -Sem. V Vanshika, Tamanna, Anoop Inder Singh attended their internship training with Systacare Remedies. Kamalpreet kaur of B.Sc(Bio-Tech)- Sem V attended training at Jackson Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Similarly, Ramanpreet kaur, Pawandeep kaur, Sarguni Arora, Manya, Mayank Mishra, Anirudh kumar, Jatin kumar Pal and Kritika Patel of B.Sc(Bio-Tech)- Sem III attended internship training at Puri Laboratories. College Principal Dr Amardeep Gupta informed that these students gained practical knowledge about how to centrifuge the blood sample and taking report from serum and machines like cbc, thyroid etc. Principal Dr. Gupta congratulated these students and shared that internship gives a student the opportunity for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills. Through Internship, students get actively engaged with the practical side of their learning like problem-solving, creative thinking, digital-skills, teamwork etc. Similarly, it offers the employer the opportunity to bring new ideas and energy into the workplace, develop talent and potentially build a pipeline for future full-time employees. On this Occasion, Staff Secretary Dr. Neeraj Gupta, Dr. Vikas Gupta, IIC Convenor Dr. Manpreet Kaur, IIC Internship Coordinator Dr. Shivani Sanan were present.
