REASI, Sept 8: The Indian Army organized an awareness lecture at Chassana to highlight the importance of balanced nutrition for a healthy and productive life. The lecture aimed to educate the local population, including students, women and elderly villagers, about the significance of proper diet, prevention of malnutrition and adoption of healthy eating habits. The event focused on spreading awareness regarding the role of nutrition in physical and mental well-being, particularly for children and young adults. Medical and health experts from Indian Army interacted with the attendees and provided practical guidance on incorporating locally available food items into daily meals to ensure balanced nutrition.
