GGM Science College Jammu felicitates students for outstanding performance

jammu, Sept 10: Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College Jammu today organized a felicitation programme in its Conference Hall to honour the students who brought laurels to the institution through their remarkable achievements at the recently concluded Inter-State Red Cross Camp held at Kurukshetra, Haryana.
The event was organized under the aegis of the Red Ribbon Club of GGM Science College and was graced by the presence of the Principal (Prof. Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta) faculty members, and students. The Principal felicitated the students for their exemplary performances in various cultural and competitive events at the camp, where participants from different states had gathered. The students of GGM Science College distinguished themselves by winning prizes in categories such as Dance, Debate, and Group Song competitions, thereby showcasing their multifaceted talents.
In his address, the Principal GGM Science College interacted with the participants and took feedback about their experiences during the camp. He appreciated the enthusiasm, dedication, and discipline exhibited by the students, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in both academic and extracurricular pursuits. He also acknowledged the contributions of the two counsellors, Prof. Sheikh Muzafar and Mr. Ratan Chand, who accompanied and guided the students throughout their journey at Kurukshetra.
He also commended the Red Ribbon Club for providing a platform to nurture leadership, creativity, and social responsibility among the youth.
The programme saw active participation of the members of the Red Ribbon Club.
Certificates of appreciation and participation were distributed to all students by the Principal himself, as a mark of recognition of their hard work and commitment.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rozy Bamba, Convener of the Red Ribbon Club, delivered the vote of thanks. She expressed her deep gratitude to the Principal for his continuous encouragement and support, and praised the students for their spirited participation in the camp.
The felicitation programme concluded with a message of motivation, encouraging the students to actively participate in such national and interstate platforms, which not only bring pride to the institution but also contribute to their holistic personality development.
