Jammu, Sept 15: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), Jammu proudly inaugurated its Induction Program – EMBARK 2K25 for the incoming 2025–26 batch of engineering students on September 15, 2025, at the Seminar Hall, YCET Jammu. The program marked the beginning of an exciting new academic journey for the fresher’s, welcoming a new generation of aspiring engineers into the YCET family.
Designed in alignment with AICTE guidelines, the induction program aims to ensure a smooth transition into the engineering curriculum and campus life.
It blends academic orientation, motivational sessions, technical talks, cultural showcases, and interactive forums with faculty, alumni, and industry professionals.
The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony, beginning with the traditional lighting of the lamp.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries our Chief Guest: Er. Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Chairman, YCET, Special guest: Ms. Insha Khalid (JKAS) and Guest of Honour: Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, YCETand
Er.Dinesh Gupta Dean Acadmic ,extend a warm welcome to our distinguished guests, respected faculty members, proud parents, and most importantly, our dear students who are beginning a new chapter of their academic journey today.
This program is not just about familiarizing you with the campus and curriculum, but also about helping you adapt to a new environment, building confidence, and preparing you to take full advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead.
After that Er.Lovnessh Talwar, HoD Elecrical Engineering Department gave comprehensive Institutional Presentation (PPT) to introduce students and parents to the college’s vision, mission, and opportunities. The presentation highlighted the history, infrastructure, academic programs, research facilities, student support services, and placement records of the institution.
Students were also briefed about extracurricular opportunities, clubs, and innovation cells that contribute to their holistic growth. the presentation was designed to help students understand the resources available to them and to encourage them to actively participate in academics, research, and co-curricular activities. Also shows various MoUs sign by the institution like IIT Jammu,IIT Delhi,IIT Bombay,IIT Madras,.NEPTEL,CIIIT Jammu, SMVDU and more. These collaborations aim to provide students with exposure to cutting-edge technologies, internships, industrial visits, joint research projects, and skill-development programs.
