The situation on the ground is dire, because of a cloud burst in Chakosti resulted in 70 deaths and left many people missing. The track of Mata Vaishno Devi was also severely damaged with 40 lives lost and around 100 people missing.Heavy Rainfall and flash floods have caused several bridges collapse and the rising water level of the Tawi River has submerged vast areas.
